حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ وَهَمَّامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ جَوْنِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبِّقِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِبَيْتٍ بِفِنَائِهِ قِرْبَةٌ مُعَلَّقَةٌ فَاسْتَسْقَى. فَقِيلَ: إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ، قَالَ: ذَكَاةُ الْأَدِيمِ دِبَاغُهُ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a house in whose courtyard a water skin was hanging, and he asked for water. It was said: 'It is from a dead animal.' He said: "The purification of the hide is its tanning."
