✧ Ibn ‘Umar used to lease farmlands. He heard that Rafi’ was reporting a hadith about it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so Ibn ‘Umar went out to him at al-Balat and asked him. He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade leasing farmlands, so ‘Abdullah abandoned leasing them.
