✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day from al-'Aliyah until when he passed by the mosque of Banu Mu'awiyah he entered, prayed two rak'ahs there, and we prayed with him. He supplicated his Lord at length, then turned to us and said: "I asked my Lord for three things; He granted me two and withheld one. I asked my Lord not to destroy my ummah by drought, and He granted me that. I asked Him not to destroy my ummah by drowning, and He granted me that. And I asked Him not to make their might turn against one another, but He withheld it from me."
