حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ الرِّجَالَ عَاقِدِي أُزُرِهِمْ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَمْثَالَ الصِّبْيَانِ مِنْ ضِيقِ الْأُزُرِ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ: يَا مَعْشَرَ النِّسَاءِ لَا تَرْفَعْنَ رُؤُوسَكُنَّ حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الرِّجَالُ

✧ I saw men tying their garments around their necks like children because the garments were so tight, behind the Messenger of God ﷺ in prayer. Someone said: 'O women, do not raise your heads until the men raise theirs.'
