حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا قَالَ: وَكَانَ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً أَوْ جَيْشًا بَعَثَهُمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ قَالَ: وَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا، وَكَانَ يَبْعَثُ تِجَارَتَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ فَأَثْرَى وَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ
Translation

✧ O God, bless my community in its early morning. He said: When he sent out a detachment or an army, he sent them at the beginning of the day. He said: Sakhr was a merchant, and he used to send his trade goods at the beginning of the day, so he became wealthy and his wealth increased.

I said: But Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in his al-Thiqāt among the Followers (tābiʿūn) and said: He narrated from Ṣakhr al-Ghāmidī, and Yaʿlā b. ʿAṭāʾ narrated from him.
