✧ I was the seventh of seven with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: He commanded us to collect a dirham from each man among us, so we bought a sacrificial animal for seven dirhams. We said: "O Messenger of Allah, we paid a high price for it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The best of sacrificial animals is the most expensive and the fattest." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded, and one man took hold of one leg, another man took hold of another leg, one man took hold of one hand, another man took hold of another hand, one man took hold of one horn, and another man took hold of another horn. The seventh man slaughtered it, and we all said takbir over it together.
