✧ I brought you from the land of Abyssinia until when I was a night or two away from al-Madinah, I cooked some food for you, and the firewood ran out. I went out to look for some, and you reached for the pot, and it tipped over onto your forearm. I brought you to the Prophet ﷺ and said, “May my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah, this is Muhammad b. Hatib.” He spat lightly into your mouth, wiped over your head, supplicated for you, and began spitting lightly on your hands, saying, “Remove the affliction, Lord of the people, and heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing but Your healing, a healing that leaves no sickness.” She said: I did not get up with you from his presence until your hand was healed.
