حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَدِيدٍ عَنْ صَخْرٍ الْغَامِدِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا، قَالَ: فَكَانَ إِذَا بَعَثَ سَرِيَّةً أَوْ جَيْشًا بَعَثَهُمْ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ. قَالَ: فَكَانَ صَخْرٌ رَجُلًا تَاجِرًا، وَكَانَ يَبْعَثُ تِجَارَتَهُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ، قَالَ: فَأَثْرَى وَكَثُرَ مَالُهُ

Translation

✧ O Allah, bless my ummah in its early mornings. He said: When he sent out a raiding party or an army, he would send them at the beginning of the day. He said: Sakhr was a merchant, and he would send his trade goods at the beginning of the day. He said: So he became wealthy and his wealth increased.
