حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ شُمَيْلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي طَرِيفٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ حَاصَرَ الطَّائِفَ، وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا صَلَاةَ الْبَصَرِ، حَتَّى لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَمَى لَرَأَى مَوْقِعَ نَبْلِهِ

✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he besieged al-Ta'if, and he used to lead us in the prayer of al-basar (when visibility is so low that a man could barely see the impact site of his arrow) until, if a man had shot an arrow, he would see where it landed.

رواه أحمد وفيه الوليد بن عبد الله بن شميلة ولم أجد من ذكره ورجال المسند في هذا الموضع ليس هو عندي الآن ورواه الطبراني في الكبير فجعل مكان النصر العصر وهو وهم والله أعلم قلت الوليد هذا هو الوليد بن عبد الله بن سميرة كما رواه الطبراني وكذا ذكره ابن حبان في الثقات وذكر روايته عن أبي ظريف وأنه اختلف في اسم جده
