حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ رَبِّهِ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ السَّبْرِيُّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَنَّهُ أَمَرَهُمْ بِالْمُتْعَةِ، قَالَ: فَخَطَبْتُ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ امْرَأَةً، قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُحَرِّمُهَا أَشَدَّ التَّحْرِيمِ، وَيَقُولُ فِيهَا أَشَدَّ الْقَوْلِ، وَيَنْهَى عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ النَّهْيِ

✧ He commanded them to engage in mut'ah. He said: I and a man proposed to a woman. He said: I met the Prophet ﷺ after three days, and there he was forbidding it with the strongest prohibition, speaking about it with the strongest words, and forbidding it with the strongest prohibition.
