✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came in to me, and I went to a she-goat to slaughter it. It bleated, and he heard its bleating, so he said: O Jabir, do not cut off a source of milk or offspring. I said: O Prophet of God, it is only a young she-goat that I have fed on unripe dates and fresh dates until it became fat.
