حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَمُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا، عَنِ الرُّقْيَةِ فَقَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي خَالِي أَحَدُ الْأَنْصَارِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرْقِي مِنَ الْعَقْرَبِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَنْفَعَ أَخَاهُ بِشَيْءٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ

Translation

✧ I asked Jabir about incantation (ruqya), and he said: My maternal uncle, one of the Helpers, told me that he said, 'O Messenger of God, should I recite incantations for scorpion stings?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said, 'Whoever of you can benefit his brother in any way, let him do it.'
