حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا، عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ: طَلَّقَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَتَى عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: لِيُرَاجِعْهَا، فَإِنَّهَا امْرَأَتُهُ.

✧ I asked Jabir about a man who divorces his wife while she is menstruating. He said: Abdullah b. Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Umar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of that. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Let him take her back, for she is his wife.
