✧ He heard Jabir b. Abdullah being asked about the wurud (the arrival). He said: 'On the Day of Resurrection, we will be at such and such. Look which of those is above the people.' He said: 'The nations will be called by their idols and what they used to worship, the first then the first. Then our Lord will come to us after that and say: "Whom are you waiting for?" They will say: "We are waiting for our Lord [Mighty and Majestic]." He will say: "I am your Lord." They will say: "Until we look at You." So He will manifest Himself to them, laughing.' He said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Then He will depart with them and they will follow Him, and every person, whether hypocrite or believer, will be given a light. Then they will follow Him over the bridge of Jahannam, on which there are hooks and thorns that will seize whomever Allah wills. Then the light of the hypocrite will be extinguished, then the believers will be saved. The first group will be saved, their faces like the moon on the night of the full moon, seventy thousand who will not be brought to account. Then those who follow them, like the brightest star in the sky. Then likewise. Then intercession will occur until those who said 'There is no god but Allah' and had in their heart good the weight of a barley grain will come out of the Fire, and they will be placed in the courtyard of Paradise, and the people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them until they sprout like something sprouts in a flood. Then he will ask until he is given the world and ten times its like with it."
