حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُنِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا قَالَ: أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا قَالَ: أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا الشَّطْرَ
Translation

✧ He said: 'I hope that those of my community who follow me on the Day of Resurrection will be a quarter of the people of Paradise.' He said: So we said takbir. He said: 'I hope that they will be a third of the people of Paradise.' He said: So we said takbir. He said: 'I hope that you will be half.'
