✧ God, Mighty and Majestic, granted Khaybar to the Messenger of God ﷺ as spoils. The Messenger of God ﷺ left its people as they were, making it a share between him and them. He sent Abd Allah b. Rawahah, who assessed the produce upon them. Then he said to them, “O company of Jews, you are the most hateful of creation to me: you killed the prophets of God, Mighty and Majestic, and you lied against God. But my hatred of you does not lead me to wrong you. I have assessed twenty thousand wasqs of dates; if you wish, they are yours, and if you refuse, they are mine.” They said, “By this do the heavens and the earth stand; we accept, so depart from us.”
