✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ came to al-'Aliyah and passed through the market. He passed by a dead kid with deformed ears. He picked it up and lifted it, then said, 'How much would you like this to be yours?' They said, 'We would not like it to be ours for anything. What would we do with it?' He said, 'How much would you like it to be yours?' They said, 'By God, even if it were alive, it would be defective because of its deformed ears, so how about when it is dead?' He said, 'By God, the world is more insignificant to God than this is to you.'
