✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions passed by a woman, and she slaughtered a sheep for them and prepared food for them. When he returned, she said: "O Messenger of Allah, we have prepared food for you, so enter and eat." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions entered, and they would not begin until the Prophet ﷺ began. The Prophet ﷺ took a morsel but could not swallow it. The Prophet ﷺ said: "This is a sheep slaughtered without the permission of its owners." The woman said: "O Prophet of Allah, we do not stand on ceremony with the family of Mu'adh, and they do not stand on ceremony with us. We take from them and they take from us."
