حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّ جَابِرًا أخْبَرَهُ
أَنَّهُمْ غَزَوْا غَزْوَةً بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَهَاجَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنَّهَا لِمَوْتِ مُنَافِقٍ فَرَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَوَجَدْنَا مُنَافِقًا عَظِيمَ النِّفَاقِ قَدْ مَاتَ.

✧ They went on a military expedition between Makkah and Madinah, and a severe wind blew upon them. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'It is for the death of a hypocrite.' We returned to Madinah and found a hypocrite of great hypocrisy had died.
