حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ
أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونَ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُنِي مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَرْجُو أَنْ يَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ النَّاسِ قَالَ: فَكَبَّرْنَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ: أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا الشَّطْرَ.

✧ I hope that those who follow me from my community on the Day of Resurrection will be a quarter of the people of Paradise. He said: We said "Allahu Akbar." Then he said: I hope they will be a third of the people. He said: We said "Allahu Akbar." Then he said: I hope you will be a half.
