✧ While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, a funeral procession passed by, and we went to carry it, but it was the funeral of a Jew—or a Jewish woman. We said: “O Messenger of Allah, it was only the funeral of a Jew—or a Jewish woman.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Death is a fright, so when you see a funeral, stand up.”
