حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ أُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الظُّهْرَ فَآخُذُ قَبْضَةً مِنْ حَصًى فِي كَفِّي لِتَبْرُدَ حَتَّى أَسْجُدَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ.

✧ I used to pray the noon prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I would take a handful of pebbles in my palm so they would cool, until I prostrated on them due to the intense heat.
