✧ When the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire are distinguished, and the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, the messengers will stand and intercede. He will say: 'Go, or depart, and bring out those you recognize.' They will bring them out, having been burnt. They will cast them into a river—or upon a river—called al-Ḥayāh (Life). He said: Their burnt flesh will fall on the bank of the river, and they will come out white like the shoots of a plant. Then they will intercede again, and He will say: 'Go, or depart, and bring out whoever has a carat's weight of faith in his heart.' He said: They will bring out many people. Then they will intercede again, and He will say: 'Go, or depart, and bring out whoever has a mustard seed's weight of faith in his heart.' Then God, Mighty and Majestic, will say: 'Now I will bring out by My knowledge and My mercy.' He said: He will bring out many times more than they brought out, and many times more again. It will be written on their necks: 'Freed by God, Mighty and Majestic.' Then they will enter Paradise, and there they will be called the Jahannamites.
