حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يُسْأَلُ: هَلْ بَايَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، وَلَكِنْ صَلَّى بِهَا، وَلَمْ يُبَايَعْ عِنْدَ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّا الشَّجَرَةَ الَّتِي لِلْحُدَيْبِيَةِ
Translation

✧ That he heard Jābir being asked: 'Did the Prophet ﷺ take the pledge at Dhū al-Ḥulayfah?' He said: 'No, but he prayed there. The pledge was only taken at the tree, the tree of al-Ḥudaybiyyah.'
