حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ الصَّوَّافِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْأَنْصَارِ، أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَلَا تُعْمِرُوهَا، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا [حَيَاتَهُ]، فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَوْتَهُ.
