✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us. He praised Allah and extolled Him as He deserves, then said: “To proceed: the truest speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, and the worst of matters are their newly invented ones, and every innovation is misguidance.” Then he would raise his voice, and his cheeks would redden, and his anger would intensify when he mentioned the Hour, as if he were warning of an army. He said: “Then he would say: ‘The Hour has come to you. I and the Hour have been sent like this’—and he indicated with his two fingers, the index and the middle—‘the Hour has come upon you morning and evening. Whoever leaves wealth, it is for his family, and whoever leaves a debt or dependents, then to me and upon me.’”
