حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
رُمِيَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ بِسَهْمٍ، فَأَصَابَ أَكْحَلَهُ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَكُوِيَ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ.

✧ Ubayy b. Ka'b was shot with an arrow on the day of Uhud, and it hit his median cubital vein (akhal). The Prophet ﷺ ordered that it be cauterized on his median cubital vein.
