✧ On the day of the confederates, I was placed with the women, along with Umar b. Abi Salama. I looked, and there was al-Zubayr on his horse, going back and forth to Banu Qurayza two or three times. When he returned, I said, 'My father, I saw you going back and forth?' He said, 'And did you see me, my son?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Who will go to Banu Qurayza and bring me news of them?" So I set off. When I returned, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered for me his parents and said: "May my father and mother be your ransom."
