✧ The Prophet ﷺ fell from a horse onto a palm trunk and dislocated his foot. We entered upon him to visit him and found him praying, so we prayed with his prayer while we were standing. When he finished praying, he said: “The imam is appointed only to be followed. If he prays standing, pray standing; and if he prays sitting, pray sitting. Do not stand while he is sitting as the people of Persia do with their great ones.”
