حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ
صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِنَا يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَتَقَدَّمَ رِجَالٌ فَنَحَرُوا، وَظَنُّوا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَدْ نَحَرَ، فَأَمَرَ مَنْ كَانَ قَدْ نَحَرَ قَبْلُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ يَنْحَرُ آخَرَ، وَلَا يَنْحَرُوا حَتَّى يَنْحَرَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ led us in prayer on the Day of Sacrifice in Madinah. Some men went ahead and sacrificed, thinking that the Prophet ﷺ had already sacrificed. So he ordered those who had sacrificed before him to repeat by sacrificing another animal, and that they should not sacrifice until the Prophet ﷺ had sacrificed.
