✧ Jabir b. Abdullah al-Ansari ؓ had a camel kneel down under him after it had become exhausted. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by him and said: What is the matter with you, O Jabir? So he told him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dismounted to attend to the camel. Then he said: Mount, O Jabir. He said: O Messenger of Allah, it will not get up. He said to him: Mount. So Jabir mounted the camel. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ struck the camel with his foot, and the camel leaped a leap such that had Jabir not clung to the camel he would have fallen from its back. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Jabir: Go ahead now, O Jabir, to your family, God willing; you will find that they have prepared for you such and such. Until he mentioned the bedding. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A bed for the man, a bed for his wife, the third for the guest, and the fourth for Satan.
