✧ A group from Uraynah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, “We have found Madinah unhealthy; our bellies have swollen and our limbs have become emaciated.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered them to go to the camel herder and drink from the camels’ milk and urine. He said: So they went to the camel herder and drank from their milk and urine until their bellies and complexions improved. Then they killed the herder and drove off the camels. This reached the Prophet ﷺ, so he sent people in pursuit of them. They were brought, and he cut off their hands and feet and gouged out their eyes. Qatadah said, from Muhammad b. Sirin: This was only before the prescribed punishments were revealed.
