حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَتَى عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَسُوقُ بَدَنَةً، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: ارْكَبْهَا، قَالَ: إِنَّهَا بَدَنَةٌ، قَالَ: وَيْحَكَ أَوْ وَيْلَكَ، ارْكَبْهَا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came upon a man driving a sacrificial camel. He said: Ride it. The man said: It is a sacrificial camel. He said: Ride it. The man said: It is a sacrificial camel. He said: Woe to you—or, may you be pitied—ride it.
