حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَبَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

لَا تُوَاصِلُوا، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ. قَالَ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ؛ إِنِّي أَبِيتُ، وَقَالَ بَهْزٌ: إِنِّي أَظَلُّ أَوْ أَبِيتُ، أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى

✧ Do not practice wisal (continuous fasting). They said: O Messenger of Allah, but you practice wisal. He said: I am not like any of you; I spend the night—and Bahz said: I remain—being fed and given drink.
