حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ

رُخِّصَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ الْعَوَّامِ، وَلِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فِي لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ يَعْنِي لِعِلَّةٍ كَانَتْ بِهِمَا، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَوْ قَالَ رَخَّصَ لَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

Translation

✧ A concession was granted to al-Zubayr b. al-Awwam and Abd al-Rahman b. Awf to wear silk, meaning due to an ailment they had. Shu'ba said: Or he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted them a concession.
