حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌقَالَ أَنَسٌ
مَا أَعْرِفُ فِيكُمُ الْيَوْمَ شَيْئًا كُنْتُ أَعْهَدُهُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ قَوْلَكُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ، الصَّلَاةَ. قَالَ: قَدْ صَلَّيْتُمْ حِينَ تَغْرُبُ الشَّمْسُ، أَفَكَانَتْ تِلْكَ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ؟ قَالَ: فَقَالَ: عَلَى أَنِّي لَمْ أَرَ زَمَانًا خَيْرًا لِعَامِلٍ مِنْ زَمَانِكُمْ هَذَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ زَمَانًا مَعَ نَبِيٍّ
Translation

✧ I do not recognize among you today anything that I used to know during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except your saying, "There is no god but Allah." I said, "O Abu Hamzah, the prayer?" He said, "You have prayed when the sun sets. Was that the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" Then he said, "But I have not seen a time better for a worker than this time of yours, unless it be a time with a prophet."
