حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ أَنَّ أَنَسًا

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ جَارِيَةً وُجِدَ رَأْسُهَا بَيْنَ حَجَرَيْنِ، فَقِيلَ لَهَا: مَنْ فَعَلَ بِكِ هَذَا؟ أَفُلَانٌ؟ أَفُلَانٌ؟ حَتَّى سَمَّى الْيَهُودِيَّ، فَأَوْمَأَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا، قَالَ: فَأُخِذَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَجِيءَ بِهِ فَاعْتَرَفَ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَرُضَّ رَأْسُهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ

Translation

✧ He informed him that a girl was found with her head crushed between two stones. It was said to her: Who did this to you? Was it so-and-so? Was it so-and-so?— until the Jew was named. She nodded her head. He said: The Jew was seized and brought, and he confessed. The Prophet ﷺ ordered that his head be crushed with stones.
