حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَرَأَيْتُ قَصْرًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، فَقُلْتُ: لِمَنْ هَذَا الْقَصْرُ؟ فَقَالُوا: لِشَابٍّ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ، فَظَنَنْتُ أَنِّي أَنَا هُوَ، فَقُلْتُ: مَنْ؟ قَالُوا: عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ

Translation

✧ I entered Paradise and saw a palace of gold. I said: 'For whom is this palace?' They said: 'For a young man of Quraysh.' I thought that I was he, so I said: 'Who?' They said: 'ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb.'
