حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّيْمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

إِنَّ مُوسَى بْنَ عِمْرَانَ [عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ] كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْمَاءَ لَمْ يُلْقِ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى يُوَارِيَ عَوْرَتَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ Mūsā b. ʿImrān ﷺ would, when he wanted to enter the water, not cast off his garment until he had concealed his private parts in the water.
