Translation

✧ A beggar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he ordered a date to be given to him, and he [the beggar] threw it away in disgust. Then another beggar came, and he ordered a date for him. He said, "Glory be to Allah! A date from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ!" He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said to the slave girl, "Go to Umm Salamah and give him the forty dirhams that are with her."
