✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to like good dreams, and sometimes he would say: Has any of you seen a dream? If a man saw a dream whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not know, he would ask about him. If he was not known for any fault, his dream was more pleasing to him. A woman came to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, I saw as if I entered Paradise and I heard a loud commotion for which Paradise was filled with light: so-and-so son of so-and-so, and so-and-so son of so-and-so, until she counted twelve men. Then they were brought with dark garments, their neck veins gushing blood. It was said: Take them to the river of al-Baydakh or al-Baydah, so they were immersed in it and came out of it with faces like the moon on the night of the full moon. Then chairs of gold were brought and they sat upon them, and a bowl was brought and they ate from it. They would not turn it to any side except that they ate whatever fruit they wished. Then the bearer of good news came from that expedition and said: Our affair was such-and-such, and so-and-so and so-and-so were killed, until he counted twelve men, the same ones the woman had counted. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Bring the woman to me. He said: Tell your dream to this man. So she told it, and he said: It is as she said.
