حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ كَانَ يَحْدُو بِالرِّجَالِ، وَأَنْجَشَةَ يَحْدُو بِالنِّسَاءِ، وَكَانَ حَسَنَ الصَّوْتِ، فَحَدَا فَأَعْنَقَتِ الْإِبِلُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: يَا أَنْجَشَةُ، رُوَيْدًا سَوْقَكَ بِالْقَوَارِيرِ

Translation

✧ Al-Barāʾ b. Mālik used to drive the camels with singing for the men, and Anjasha used to drive them with singing for the women, and he had a beautiful voice. He sang and the camels quickened their pace, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: O Anjasha, gently, drive slowly with the glass vessels.
