Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ passed by me while I was playing with the boys. He greeted us, then called me and sent me on an errand for him. I came back, and I had been delayed from my mother. She said: 'What kept you? Where were you?' I said: 'The Messenger of God ﷺ sent me on an errand.' She said: 'My dear son, what was it?' I said: 'It is a secret.' She said: 'Do not tell the secret of the Messenger of God ﷺ to anyone.' Then he said: 'By God, O Thabit, if I were to tell it to anyone, I would tell you.'
