حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِصَامٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الشَّرَابِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، وَيَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ أَرْوَى وَأَمْرَأُ وَأَبْرَأُ، قَالَ أَنَسٌ: وَأَنَا أَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الشَّرَابِ ثَلَاثًا.

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to breathe three times while drinking, and he would say: "It is more thirst-quenching, more wholesome, and more healthy." Anas said: "And I breathe three times while drinking."
