حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ قَالَ
قُلْتُ لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَخَضَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ لَمْ يَبْلُغْذَلِكَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ شَيْئًا فِي صُدْغَيْهِ وَلَكِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ خَضَبَ بِالْحِنَّاءِ وَالْكَتَمِ
Translation

✧ I said to Anas b. Malik: Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye his hair? He said: He did not reach that; there was only something in his temples, but Abu Bakr dyed with henna and katam.
