حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ؛ فَلَمَّا رَأَى شِدَّةَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ: إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لَا خَيْرَ فِيمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ.
Translation

✧ The izār should reach to the middle of the shin. Then when he saw the hardship of that upon the Muslims, he said: 'To the ankles. There is no good in what is lower than that.'
