حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أُعْطِيتُ الْكَوْثَرَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ نَهَرٌ يَجْرِي وَلَمْ يُشَقَّ شَقًّا، فَإِذَا حَافَتَاهُ قِبَابُ اللُّؤْلُؤِ، فَضَرَبْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَى تُرْبَتِهِ، فَإِذَا [هُوَ] مِسْكَةٌ ذَفِرَةٌ، وَإِذَا حَصَاهُ اللُّؤْلُؤُ
Translation

✧ "He (the Prophet) recited this verse: 'Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar.' He then said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have been given al-Kawthar, a river flowing and never drying up. It has banks of pearls, and I struck its bottom with my hand, and there emerged a handful of musk and pearls."
