حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادٌ النُّمَيْرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ إِذَا عَلَا نَشَزًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ، قَالَ: اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الشَّرَفُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرَفٍ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ḥasan
  2. ʿUmārah
  3. Ziyād al-Numayrī
  4. Anas b. Mālik
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ When he climbed a high place in the land, he would say: 'O God, to You belongs eminence over every eminence, and to You belongs praise in every situation.'
