حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَاذَانَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ الْمُؤَذِّنَ أَوْ بِلَالًا كَانَ يُقِيمُ، فَيَدْخُلُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَيَسْتَقْبِلُهُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْحَاجَةِ، فَيَقُومُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى تَخْفِقَ عَامَّتُهُمْ رُؤُوسُهُمْ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Ḥasan b. Mūsá
  2. ʿUmārah / Ibn Zādhān
  3. Thābit
  4. Anas b. Mālik

✧ The muezzin, or Bilal, would make the call to commence prayer, and the Prophet ﷺ would enter, then a man would approach him for some need, and he would stand with him until most of them began to nod their heads.
