✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered the Friday sermon, he would lean his back against a wooden post. When the people became numerous, he said: Build for me a pulpit, intending to make them hear. So they built for him one with two steps, and he moved from the post to the pulpit. He said: Anas b. Malik informed me that he heard the post moaning like the moaning of a she-camel longing for her young. He said: It did not cease moaning until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended from the pulpit, went to it, and embraced it, and it became still.
